Who is the best Dutch player to have played for Boro?

JFH is the best, he had unbelievable finishing ability, both feet, all angles, power or placement.
Zenden and Boating were a perfect combination though. George a brilliant defensive midfielder and Zenden a creator/goalscorer with a bit of edge too.
We're a million miles from the type of quality nowadays unfortunately
 
To think we got JFH on his 'decline'. He must have been some player for Chelsea (he was) 👍

Really can't be many forwards with a harder shot with little or no back lift.
 
Jimmy for me, I liked Boateng but that gift of putting the ball in the net with quality goals in big games at places like Man City and Roma just makes him that bit extra special.
 
Boateng and JFH. If we had more service to JFH with quality full backs or using Mendieta in the right way.
 
My answer is Boateng by the way. But reizigers a funny one. He had an incredible pedigree, three tournaments with Holland, 250 appearance s for Barca. And he was dog turd. We had to turn to parnaby and McMahon to cover for him.
You can go through the team in McLaren's last two years and there's a quality player in every position other than right back. Because Reiziger was supposed to be playing there. Shame we didn't keep Danny mills.

And AC Milan and Ajax where he won the Champs league. I remember being so excited when we signed him. But it just didn't work. He was finished, and it showed!
 
Heine Otto was our best player from 1982 to 1985, but not as good as the other Dutch players mentioned.

When Boateng played we were a top 8 Premiership side. When he didn't we were bottom half.
 
Very hard one but I've gotta go for Bolo Zenden.

Perfect example of the kind of player we were stuffed with during the McClaren years, just pure class and quality from top to bottom. So many players who were top 6 standard and could have probably done a job even higher.

For Zenden, you don't play for Barcelona if you're a mug. I loved him, heartbeat of that team for a few seasons. Just a top quality across the board midfielder.

Very hard to leave out Boateng for service and JFH was pure lethal. Big game player. Be like getting a 32 year old Aguero today.
