Bolo Zenden for me was incredible. He played in the champions league final a year after leaving us.

Hasselbaink was deadly a top striker and I was buzzing when we signed him.
 
Boateng for longevity.

Strangely I remember quite a lot of "what are we signing him for, he's ancient" when JFH walked through the door. I think he proved them wrong. I think he had the hardest shot I've seen from a Boro player.
 
i liked Otto but Boatang was better IM0, in fairness Otto played in a awful team and probably had more to give with better players around him
 
Boateng for me. He will forever go down as one of my favourite players.

Always gave 110% and never ever gave less than a 7/10 performance. An absolute warrior in midfield and someone who was instrumental in our most successful period.

Zenden & JFH deserve a mention too. They were brilliant for us.
 
Hasselbaink, Zenden and Boateng the best three. Then Otto. He was at decent player but mainly at the level we are now. A million miles behind them there's Emnes and Reiziger.
 
Jimmy was the best. Boateng gave us the best service. Zenden was a good player for us, mostly. Too young for Otto. Reiziger was rubbish for us. Emnes had one good season.
 
For old time sake Otto but he wasn't in the same League as either George or Zenden.
We have had the privilege to watch some fantastic players and on the flip side some utter dross.
Times change so quickly, here's hoping Neil can be the catalyst of the next good chapter in our history.
 
Has to be George in terms of overall contribution and importance to the team. We just looked so much poorer when he wasn't playing.

Too young to remember Otto sadly.
