Who are the best players in Europe now, under 30?

If Haaland stays fit he's going to be right up there, he reached 200 career goals 2 years younger than Messi, and 4 years younger than Ronaldo.

His numbers could be unprecedented, if he plays until his mid/late 30s and he stays fit which might be a problem with his body shape and size .

Pep will have him playing sweeper in 18 months, while Stones keeps progressing forward to the no.9 position

If Silva had been injured Mahrez would have been on. De Bruyne was injured so I'm came Foden.
I didn't realise that Bernado Silva is only 28, he seems to have been around an age.

I was going to ask you if you felt Mahrez or Foden would replace him when his legs have gone but he should have many a year in him yet. ;)

Edit: Saying that, he is linked with a move away from City in the summer.

I would say he is already right up there.

When does a good young player with the 'potential to be one of the greats' become 'one of the greats'?
Is it to do with trophies won? International games? Age?

He looks a lot older but he should be on the list here of top Under 30 players.

26.5 years old

Providing they have played over 200 games

I guess I mean that we could be talking about him as not just the best of this generation, but as a serious contender in the GOAT discussion

You can only go on performance. Look how many medals Jones and Turnbull won compared to Kane, Le Tissier, Shearer etc

Yes Haaland is already up there for sure, probably the best striker on the planet.

I dont think there are many teams on the planet that I wouldn't find a spot for Bernado Silva at the moment - offers a bit of everything (except height!) and to consistently high level.

I am also amazed he is only 28!
