Who are the best players in Europe now, under 30?

who are the major assets Europe has? Kane turns 30 this close season too, joining KDB/Neymar/Salah/Courtois etc.

Mbappe
Haaland
Sane
Gvardiol
Valverde
Vini
Bellingham
Pedri
Saka?
The Napoli fella, forget his name

Seem like the most obvious? But is it just me or are most of the world’s best players now well over 30?

Bastoni at Inter looks a great defender, would certainly put him up there in terms of best (younger) defenders

The King is Dead Long Live the King......................................there is always someone else to come along. Might be a pause in superstars after having Messi and Ronaldo at the same time but just like the no.63 bus another one will come along eventually.

I think you're correct in that we're currently going through one of those transitions but I still think you're missing quite a few there I think. Some off the top of my head:

Gavi
Musiala
Chiesa
Kim Min-jae
Hackney

Alexis MacAllister.
Considered him.

I guess there is also Gavi?

I’m sure in the 90s-00s the players in their 30s were mostly seen as useful assets to squads but not the world‘s absolute elite, who were mostly around 25-28. Some of whom even younger.

I wasn’t necessarily saying it’s a transition, but just more about the fact that if you did a proper top 10 players in the world, about 8 of them would be over 30 aside from Haaland and Mbappe. are players peaking later or just staying good for much longer?

Considered Musiala, so yeah he is up there.

Chiesa seems decent but not sure I’d have had him in the absolute elite.

Are you serious about the Korean defender? Obviously I know you are about Hackney.

Nkunku has to be in that list.

At least until that Chelsea move is finalised, assuming he's legally committed to it and can't back out.
