Where do you live?

Northumberland, not far from Berwick. It’s a great place to be; fantastic coast and hills, castles every few miles, peaceful but Edinburgh just 60 miles away, fast trains to everywhere.

The only downside is that it’s not a great place to get old or fall ill as the nearest A&E is 63 miles away in Cramlington. I am pally with a local doctors’ practice manager and once said to him, “I don’t want to die in Cramlington “ He replied, “don’t worry, you almost certainly won’t die in Cramlington.........

......you are far more likely to die in an ambulance on it’s way to Cramlington that’s stuck behind a tractor, a combine harvester and half a dozen caravans and articulated lorries on a single carriageway section of the A1”

Long Island, New York for me. Before that time in Aberdeen, Holland and London. Thatcher's Britain screwed up my job when I graduated from Teesside Poly and I ended up moving to London.
I used to visit Long Island quite a bit a long time ago. We had a data centre in Hauppauge. Used to stay at a hotel in Port Jefferson.

Think the name might give it away!! Sunny Nelson, New Zealand, for the last 13 years.
Before that originally Skelton/Brotton, South Africa for a bit before returning to Skelton and then took the Queens shilling and lived all over the UK (and Cyprus) but mainly along the M4 corridor.

Spent many years in Alnwick at Boulmer and now my Daughter is there with her hubby. Nice area and love the coastal walks.

Sheffield. Very close to where Back in Time for the Corner Shop (BBC 2 ) was filmed. Originally from Hilton near Yarm.

East Midlands,
but previous included:
Southfield Rd,
Linthorpe Rd [opposite the Park Gates]
Cambridge Road
South Shields

Are we all based in and around Teesside or are there plenty of us spread further afield?

I live in Blyth (please, don’t hold it against me) but originally from Ashington. Not sure if that’s better or worse to be honest 😄

My mam and grandparents are from Ashingthon. They all have Geordie accents. I'm surprised you're not a Newcastle fan. I've played on the Blyth Spartans pitch a few times too.

Feels like.......
I'm a livin' in a box
I'm a livin' in a cardboard box

By the coast still, but left Scarborough and a bit further away from the boro than i was and could be even further away come August
