Are we all based in and around Teesside or are there plenty of us spread further afield?

I live in Blyth (please, don’t hold it against me) but originally from Ashington. Not sure if that’s better or worse to be honest 😄

My mam & dad bought their 1st married home in Berner Street opposite the South terrace, someone once asked my dad how come you bought a house there Derek & my dad said, because I coukdnt get any closer to Ayresome Park, quality
We then moved to West Lane, 10 mins from AP, when I got married I lived in Linthorpe village, a 5 minute walk to AP & now live in Acklam

Spanish man.
Elche is my Spanish team. Been a few times when I visit my aunt. Theres something great about watching football in a stadium with no roof on.....in the sun

Workmate lives in Ashington lives in the former mine boss house on the way out, no street lights. How did you end up a Boro fan? its fair way even to Newcastle.

The 9:00pm starts for the matches in the
winter can be chilly. I disposed of all my thermal underwear when I moved out here. I had to borrow an old pair of tights from the missus recently. To keep my legs warm at a match not long ago.

When I was a little kid I supported Liverpool, still have my old Crown Paints kit which was my first ever. However when I was about 8 or 9 I started following the Boro. No links whatsoever and can’t even remember why (probably felt a bit sorry for them when the gates were locked at Ayresome Park) but followed the Boro ever since.

I sometimes think it might have been nice to still support a club who are about to win the Premier League and have won a few European trophies but then I pinch myself and realise that’s going to happen to us one day. Hopefully.

Love that.

Had my ST for many, many years now. Each home game is roughly a 110 mile round trip I think so it’s a decent hike. Could be worse though, could travel less but that would mean I had to support Newcastle or Sunderland, so give me the travel any time 😉
Quality WeeGord & the correct answer 👍

I thought you were a traveller?

May as well be with all the holidays you take.
Not many planned this year. Prague in 2 weeks, Iceland at Easter and Belgium/Holland/Luxembourg in summer. Somewhere in October for the not so little ones 18th as well. Needs to have good shopping though 😀
