Where’s Britt?

Britt was linked with Rangers and Nottingham Forest. Fletcher was linked with Watford, but no confirmed deals yet.

However it's transfer speculation silly season and most deals won't get done until players report back for pre-season after the Euros.
 
I imagine he's still wanting similier wages. I presume he's going to have to be more realistic.

I also think many of these free agents are in no rush. They will go on extended holidays etc. A free agent asking for 20k a week now could probably be picked up for half that come August - September when they think 'sh*t I'm out of work'.
 
We'll be paying him until the end of the month (another 70 grand) so won't be in too much of a rush. He'll find a club no bother, albeit with a significant wage reduction.
 
Apparently Brizzle City not interested- wage demands too high. This could be a factor raised by a number of clubs. He doesn’t represent a decent return for a ridiculous wage
 
The most irritating thing about him is he can play when he wants to but just decided he couldn't give a to$$ about us .
People saying he played for 4 managers that affected him is absurd . We all worked for different bosses but you still had to perform . He's an utter disgrace 😡

Defoe is staying for another year so unless they sell either Roofe or Morellos then I can't see him going there.
 
Have a feeling he will end up in Midlands. Think WBA would be good fit for him. I'm sure wherrver he is or goes he will have a big gunning grin on his face. Who wouldn't he has earned millions from football.

Not good enough for the premier league, Championship teams aren’t going to be looking to throw huge wages at what would be a gamble, he’s not done it for a few years now.
Probably be in talks with several teams until they see his demands. I see him being at a team come next season, but not at the wages he probably wants now.
 
He'll end up at Forest. No one clubs or players will be making any moves.. I imagine deals have already been agreed.
 
Why would he sign for another club before July 1st? I think agreements might even say that if a player is released without an offer then club has to pay an extra month (or until they sign elsewhere, which ever comes first) to give them time to look for a new club. So we might yet be paying until Aug 1st.
