FFS concede an equaliser in injury time, but then go on to get the winner, brilliant, this does not happen to the Boro long live the Wilder revolution
Its happened against us a few timesI can't remember the last time. And it feels SO good
88/89 I think, but we still went down.My goto memory for late winners was against WHam when we trailed for most of the game and Bernie scored twice at the death for a most unexpected 3 points. Long long time ago.
Indeed, a glimmer of gold in a season of sh*te.88/89 I think, but we still went down.

Lol at bernie getting booked for celebrating. Pretty tame by todays standards.
Unbelievable time following the mighty Boro, just a few years after almost going to the wall, promotion, promotion, fantatsic football, goals, then a new record signing & wham, it slowly started to fall apart, we really didnt deserve to be relegatedThe first half of that season was one of the best times ever to be a Boro fan. Team full of young local lads, playing great football, incredible team spirit, amazing atmosphere in the ground, up to 7th in the league around December..
Second half was terrible mind.
I'm pretty sure the winner was in the last minute. It was a very hot day. The headline in the Sports Gazette, which I have a copy of somewhere, was literally, "Phew! What a scorcher!"There was a game at home to Charlton right at the start of the 1997/98 season, I think we were losing 1-0 but Festa and Rav scored really late goals to give us a 2-1 win. Not sure if it was last minute territory though.
If that was the away game, I was there. Only ever visit to their old ground. My goto memory for late winners was against WHam when we trailed for most of the game and Bernie scored twice at the death for a most unexpected 3 points. Long long time ago.
