On a related note I’ve lost my wedding ring somewhere this week, and I’m absolutely gutted. Spent hours searching for it, think I’ve accidentally thrown it out so will be delving through the bin tomorrow.

Thanks Artie. I’m devastated to be truthful, but you just have to get on with life and make the best of it. There’s people in far worse situations in the world so, you know.....

I accidentally lost my wedding ring a few years back, I had washed my hands at work & drying with the paper towels the ring came off in among the towels & in the bin, I didn't notice till my 2nd nightshift, 3 days later so while a quiet period I emptied the contents of the skip, all bin bags, searching each & everyone, unsuccessful mind, I then had to explain to my wife, while in York one time she took me in to a jewellery shop & asked me to chose another wedding ring
