During this “lock down”, as there’s some weird and wonderful stuff on there, from a documentary about life at boca juniors on netflix to a prog about the French aircraft carrier the Charles de Gaulle on Amazon.

The Tiger King documentary is meant to be on another level weird so going to watch that, I was doing some research on the Doge’s Palace and ended up watching someone’s holiday video on YouTube for 10 minutes.

Zero Days
Not weird, not really wonderful - a cyber-war documentary revealing the story behind the Stuxnet virus
Full thing is here if anyone is interested

"Comrade Detective" on Amazon Prime has kept a smile on my face throughout the series, with at least one laugh out loud incident per episode. It's obviously not what it purports to be and is very cleverly written, performed and produced.

I enjoyed the documentary about the Tiger King Louis Theroux did. He is a wacky character and a totally self obsessed nutjob. But I thought the Netflix documentary dragged it out over 7 episodes and just became boring. The best thing I've watched is The Jinx. Probably the best ending to a program I've ever seen.

Agree about that, binge watched the first 3 but have no intention of finishing the rest of them, the guy was more irritating than amusing after a couple of episodes.

‘Beware of Mr Baker’ Documentary about Ginger Baker, ex-Cream drummer.

Fascinating, though I’d watched it before. I’m a simple soul, I know.

That reminds me, watched a 4 episode documentary on Sky Arts, The Art of Drumming, fantastic little series. GB features a lot.

Hot Girls Wanted .. about young lasses in the US who want to get into the porn industry .. those that do the "amateur" type porn I watch porn people watch

Eerrrm .. allegedly .. I .. never watched the whole documentary.. not all of it anyway .. a bit .. just to get info so I can write this post .. :cautious::oops:

Ref Netflix - I find the quality of some non - English dramas spoilt a little by the English dubbing - I prefer English subtitles - it keeps them more authentic for me. I can be watching some Spanish drama set in Spain and the actors have corny American accents.

I watch a lot of these and you can adjust this for most series in the settings.
Select the original audio in the language is was made and then select English subtitles. Far better.
