What has been your most ‘rock and roll’ moment?

Interviewed Van McCann of Catfish and the Bottlemen just as they were breaking through after the launch of their first album.

Clinking cans of red stripe with Alex Turner and Miles Kane in the Empire after The Last Shadow Puppets played at Middlesbrough Town Hall.

Celebrating promotion with gibbo, Robbo, viv Anderson and the whole of the 1st team at the Dickens Inn. Only a few of us there as we were at the uni and it was a weekday and they just all rolled up. Cracking afternoon...found out who was a good laugh and who was an utter **** too!!

Pushing a trolley into Gianluca Festa in B&Q by accident of course

I have had a wild life

Oh, kissed a member of Atomic Kitten - Not Kerry Katona thankfully.

Sang at a TFM roadshow when I was about 15 (1994), I was not good, I cannot sing but it was a pretty big crowd and a great memory to look back on

When I left school in 2001 I did a short course at studio 64 between leaving school and starting college and was able to help out at a few other related bits such as the music festival in Boro and met some of the bands at that also helped out at the Georgian Theatre and met a manager of a famous band but can't remember who it was I'm sure he was a Scottish fella and sat chatting with him for a bit.
I worked the doors at The arena on the night Pete Dougherty played there around 2004 and briefly met him.
Oh and B-Real from Cypress Hill liked one of my tweets once 😂

Bob Dylan concert at the Manchester Free Trade Hall 1966. The Judas concert when he went electric in the second half. No it wasn’t in London.

I was working on a project in Stockholm in the early 2000s staying at the Sheraton (I think) in the city centre. Arrived back from work really late and we couldn't get near the hotel for crowds of people. Eventually we managed to get through the crowds and through security. Went into the bar for a beer and Iron Maiden were in the bar drinking cups of tea and being as far from Rock and Roll as it was possible to be. They were charming, polite and very friendly.

On the same project, I was working at Landvetter airport and one of the forklift drivers was rumoured to have been an early member of Europe, although not much evidence was forthcoming. He had long hair, always wore a black t shirt and could tap out a decent rhythm on his steering wheel so that was good enough for me.

I also shared a flight back from Cape Town with the Corrs and Annie Lennox following the 46664 festival in 2003. I was in business class with them. The Corrs were lovely (apart from Jim who seemed to resent the fact that everyone fancied his sisters). Annie Lennox was rude and obnoxious to her kids, staff and fellow passengers.

Been paid (in beer) by China Drum as "official" stagedivers.

Getting handed a can of Red Stripe from Oasis' rider by Liam following their concert at The Arena when sneaking back stage (as we used to often)

Sitting next to Kelly Jones in the bar of the Mandarin Oriental before we both went to watch Springsteen at Hyde Park and pretending I didn't have a clue who he was.

Used to drink in the Intrepid Fox when it was still on Wardour St to the point I was on nodding and alright mate terms with Phil Mogg. The lasses that lad could pull!!!
