What does Kieran Scott actually do?

I’m just struggling to see what has improved since he joined . Recruitment seems uninspired, is he in charge of this?

Every player has a price and if we refuse to pay market value and negotiate compromise - we will simply be passed buy.
We need someone like Scott - because, in the past, we have paid some of the biggest transfer fees in the Championship and chucked money at average players on ridiculously over-inflated salaries. Being completely unregulated and lead by the wind - we`ve pzzd it up the wall.
One season in the Premiership in 13 years and scraping our back-side on the trap-door into the Third Division, is why we need a role like Scott`s.

Can somebody write a brief description of both Kieron Scott's and Neil Bausor's job roles, and the overall impact and integration within the football club.

Thanks 👍

The prevents the "What does Neil Bauser actually do" posts.

Money well spent in my book.
Bausors remit is quite clear I think, regardless of the perception of whether he does it well or not.

I’m just genuinely not sure what Scott does or what benefits we are reaping. Or is he just around to make sure we don’t appoint a duffer when Wilder leaves?

A quick Google search should answer your question, in broad terms at least.

Although Scott and Bauser have obviously didn't roles, there's still some overlap, which you would expect.

'Directors of football' roles are pretty common now, it's not like we're stepping into uncharted territory by appointing one.

Recruitment actually seems worse since he joined, early days yet but I thought he would be the one to really change things
