What do you order in an Indian restaurant?

Poppadum and chutneys as a starter
Lamb Bhuna
Pilau Rice
Plain Naan
Lots of lager:p

Mrs Steer brought me a voucher for a really nice local Indian for my Christmas present. Its going to be a long wait until I can use it! :(

Something different every time generally. Usually order one lamb dish and one veg and share them between the two of us

Poppadoms and pickle tray
Mixed Kebab starter with Onion Bhaji
Peas Pilau or Veg Pilau Rice
Chips
Naan (Garlic optional)
A chefs special - something around Madras level or just below
Preferably soaked in Whisky and set on fire like in Vadah that time

Even better on Eat Out To Help Out

Not Scallops again

MEEEEEEEEEEEEAT!!!!!

Haven’t had a takeaway in ages though, don’t want to spunk unnecessary money.

I'm just watching Rick Stein's India on Dave and f00king starving now!

I always like to try something different, or don't tend to order the same thing over and over again, but I do like a Chicken Dopiaza or Chicken Tikka Biryani.

Usually the below when ordering for me, the wife and the lad (takeaway/Delivery, as haven't been to a curry house in about 2 years.

Chicken Dopiaza
Chicken Jalfrezi
2 x Pilau Rice
Bombay potato
Keema Naan.

If in a curry house and just getting my own dish, I'd probably go a little hotter like a Madras or a Dhansak.

God I'm hungry now.....
