Unless we address the wealth inequalities then people will need to use the big chains still. If people earn enough then they have a choice.
Depressing isn't it? Morals and treating people right are less important than cheap beer.
Why would they blame people who can't spell?and people who cant spell!!!!
Er... yes.... that was the joke.and people who cant spell!!!!
This is going to be about opening up the economy. Workers generally encouraged back to work, but anyone else only allowed out to spend money in the businesses that are opened up. Fishing, hiking etc. wouldn't come into that category.
That's generally running at the moment, although I rarely see more than two people on a bus. It will open sufficiently to get people to work and shoppers to their local shopping centre. Masks will be encouraged but not mandatory.Public transport?
Why the mask though if social distancing is in place? That's generally running at the moment, although I rarely see more than two people on a bus. It will open sufficiently to get people to work and shoppers to their local shopping centre. Masks will be encouraged but not mandatory.
It's difficult to socially distance on a bus and the tube. That's why I think Boris introduced the thoughts on masks in his briefing last week. Why the mask though if social distancing is in place?
Wouldn't it just make sense to make masks compulsory then and not focus so much on staying 6ft apart which is going to be impossible to keep to in the long run..It's difficult to socially distance on a bus and the tube. That's a very good point Bear that I hadn't considered. This is going to be about opening up the economy. Workers generally encouraged back to work, but anyone else only allowed out to spend money in the businesses that are opened up. Fishing, hiking etc. wouldn't come into that category.
I think social distancing will be with us either through law, guidelines or subconscious distancing until a working vaccine appears. Even flu vaccines are only 30-70% effective so there will be a lot of caution.Wouldn't it just make sense to make masks compulsory then and not focus so much on staying 6ft apart which is going to be impossible to keep to in the long run..
Yeah I get the premise will be there but if people are wearing a mask some will believe they don't have to social distance as it's aiming for the same result as wearing a mask yes?I think social distancing will be with us either through law, guidelines or subconscious distancing until a working vaccine appears. Looks like the 2m is being considered dropping to 1m if the linked report is right. (It's 1.5m in some countries like Holland.)Yeah I get the premise will be there but if people are wearing a mask some will believe they don't have to social distance as it's aiming for the same result as wearing a mask yes?
2 meters isn't sustainable. Look at a classroom for example, one teacher had said in the gazette with the current social distance rules they could only teach 8 pupils per class and would have to deliver them lunch instead of having them all on one hall. Ridiculous.Looks like the 2m is being considered dropping to 1m if the linked report is right. (It's 1.5m in some countries like Holland.)
