What can I put on my crumpet

The correct answer is decent butter then decent jam, but if you're feeling naughty I recommend a layer of Nutella topped with a layer of peanut butter.

Cheese (melted) and pickle, touch of salt
A touch of salt really😲, thats like pouring extra salt on salt and vinegar crisps.

Individual Warburtons crumpet contains 0.81 grams of salt, compared with a small portion of McDonald’s fries, which contains 0.44 grams

Agreed!
Real butta - so it drips down ya chin an all over your shirt (y)
Try some Red Leicester or Cheshire cheese - yummy

Butter only - lots - and if you do them in a toaster they have to be double-dipped to crisp/dry them out sufficiently. A wan, too soggy crumpet is a sorry thing. Like a correctly boiled egg, it's a tricky process though - you can't be burning them. My missus has them with cheese and marmite but for me the butter is the point - a bit like sweetcorn or jacket spuds. They're a showcase for that majestic yellow gold.

Never stretched to Warburtons' crumpets. Aldi ones seem like every other crumpet I've eaten tbh. Don't buy any branded products really, excpet for Diet Coke for household pop brand slaves.
