Azaz is class, I like lathe as well but think I would persist with Conway and have lathe coming of the bench, but two very good players

Conway needs time as well, the bench has worked for Manu. I think mostly we played really well tonight, Ayling probably saved us from a another defeat with his goal line clearance, if it had gone in would we have struggled? I hope this Is our Norwich City moment where we have a bit of luck and it sets us on a roll. UTB

+ Doak had his head up more tonight and even with two on him he caused them all kinds of problems.

Azaz has loads of ability. Some of his first touches first half were outstanding. He takes up spaces nobody else does and is always looking to make things happen. His weight of ball isn’t always perfect, but if it was he wouldn’t be playing for Boro.

It's amazing how the mood on here has changed after one goaline clearance and one great goal.
Whilst we played some good stuff last night I still think we did ok going forward in the first half on Saturday.

I think Norwich could be the perfect game for ELL - they'll look to come at us and will leave space/counter opportunities.

If we can try get him 1v1 with Shane Duffy he could be in luck.

Thats why its so vital we stay in games, without throwing away goals in the first half with sloppy errors. Far easier to break down defences at 0-0, than when chasing games. If that game is 0-1 Azaz wouldn't have had the space to play the pass, nor ELL the space to run in behind.
