Yeah there’s some really dumb people on there, like those two brothers and their dad, they have no hope, but also from a seemingly rough/ tough background.

That Vernon annoys me more though, as he seems to be from a better background and has gotten some money, somehow, from somewhere, but it’s like he’s trying to blow the lot. It’s like he’s permanently playing “go for broke”, absolute clown.

Shaun seems to be good at what he does, but anyone that refers to themselves in the 3rd person as ‘Mr Gold” is certainly in for a hiding somewhere down the line.

Emily’s just a chancer. I deffo would but no idea why!
 
Beechgrove,a nice down to earth gardening programme set in Scotland and far better than Gardeners World for your average gardener.
 
Anybody watching Cardinal - Canadian detective series. First three series were on BBC4, latest is on BBC2 I think. First three are on iPlayer.

Bit “dark” in places but brilliantly written and acted

Watched the first series years ago but didn't see the second so can't catch up on the current one just yet. As you say, very well-acted and written.

One of the best things I've seen on tv in recent years is a series called The Leftovers which is almost impossible to categorise. Don't let the fact that it's the (co)creation of Damon Lindelof - of Lost fame - prevent you from watching it. Oh, and another shout for Still Game.

In each episode of this exciting docu-series the team answer multiple distress calls from everyday Aussies whose homes have been invaded by these fearsome reptiles.

Scary where some these deadly creatures hide, quality entertainment if you have a fear of snakes like me,

Surely Monkey was the most random series ever broadcast in this country....I loved it!!!
