We've accepted a bid of £12m for Tav

Crowds don't matter,
Yes they do when they are that low with no intention to increase them

Ffp limits them as they make zero revenue of the pitch they have no fan base.

They are a pound shop Chelsea bankrolled by a shady Russian oligarch that little is known about.

You're living in bitter fan land. Sounding like those up the road who put home crowd numbers above anything.

He's moving on to a bigger stage with a bigger wage. He'll be seen by far more than watch Championship games, and he's in an even bigger shop window. If they come down he'll be looking to move again when his deal is coming to an end. If he does well another Premier League club will come in for him, if not he's back where he started. A gamble worth taking.

Why do people think £12 million is too low when let's be honest he's an unknown in the premier league. I'm willing to bet that there will be performance related add ons involved and more than likely a fee added on if Bournemouth stay up.

£12 million is a lot of money for a club mine ours, let's be honest, we aren't exactly rolling in cash are we?

Gutted but its not the end of the world. It’s a shame it’s happening right before the start of the season, you would hope the recruitment team have already got names written down as direct replacements, surely they aren’t that naive…

I don't think Tav cares about FFP, I doubt Bournemouth do either since it's pretty much non-existent in the Premier League.

Because of other players being sold recently. He’s worth £20m plus in anyones money- young, English, can play in multiple positions.

Better we sell now rather than let his contact run down and go for nothing.im sure we will find a decent replacement with plenty of change left , good player but makes sense.

Just don't see the Bournemouth appeal. We've got a better manager and fanbase etc.

Yes he's probably doubling his money. Yet it's going to be a really tough season for them. I just don't see him enjoying it.

We would have been better throwing a new improved deal at him and saying 'give us one more year'. Then bang a release clause in so he can move on if he wants to. He will be really difficult to replace.

He's 23 with over 130 games under his belt. You don't just buy that experience and age on the cheap.

No im Not they have a ridiculously small ground to be at that level but they have no intention of extending it when other clubs have been forced to upgrade when they get promoted.

It’s not about size of crowd it’s about designing small crowds into their game plan thus limiting away support.

The prem should force a non allocation of 30 k at this level or force them to allow 3 k away fans.

All built on shady Russian money there is nothing organic about it.

I like Tav as a player, though really think he'd benefit from another competitive season in the Championship than a battle, to avoid the bottom 3, in the PL.. which is what I think Bournemouth have to look forward too.

He's got a great engine & a good prospect.. good luck to him, tho hope we have a sell on % at that price, bit of a bargain.. about £3m light, just on potential.. IMHO

Personally I'd snap their hands off a 12m, Tav has his strengths - energy, athletiscm, tenacity, recoveries, set pieces. But he has major flaws, decison making particularly in the final third, ball retention is weak, mainly down to playing high risk passes in the wrong areas, lack of goals and assists. Mcgree I believe will suit the left 8 role much better than Tav in a possesion based team, I'd be more worried if we were loosing him. We will definite;y miss Tav's energy in recovery against counter attacks, but half the time he was recovery his own mistakes
