We've accepted a bid of £12m for Tav

The fee is cr*p.... I'd say 15 at worst

It's not just the fee. Its the fecking timing. The bloody season starts on sat and we ain't stacked with CMs as it is.

We've seen how hard it is to get anyone in. How longs it going to take to get a replacement in? How much will it cost to find one a similar age and experience who's 'as good' or better?

It's a right kick in the d*ck timing wise😕

Then to add to that it's Bournemouth who will absolutely come straight back down. Sideways step for me. I hope he enjoys playing infront of 11k and woeful away support.

Well i don’t think there’s anyone else in the championship as good as Tav in his position so replacing him is going to very difficult and no doubt expensive - the timing is truly awful as well

Firstly, I'd take the reported figure with a heavy pinch of salt.

Secondly - and this isn't good news - I think we have already signed a 'replacement' in McGree.

It's a massive blow I think, probably the player that we will miss more than any other, but there's money available now and a lot of business for us to do between now and the window closing, it will be intersting to see how much we can get over the line.

Wow Bournemouth!!! Favourites for relegation ... Crowd capacity of 11,364.... yes there in the premier league, but if I was Tav I wouldn't fancy that move! maybe its not his choice... maybe Wilder has someone lined up to take his place... don't forget the transfer window doesn't shut until 1st Sept... plenty of time to spend the 24M from sales...

I wish him well , and hope the money is invested in some quality to improve the squad .
Strange how Forss has gone quiet too .
Have we changed targets to our ‘A’ list again ?

We are gonna need a couple of centre mids now, we only have 3

He’s had his medical. Just waiting on announcement

Gutted, he just started to kick on midway through last season. I think he will be a good signing for them and we will miss him massively.

As if we said 'stay one more year' and it was a year waisted under that ol' daft git as a manager.

Im genuinely gutted about this.

He did indeed have a good end to the season but he didn't have anywhere near the season that Spence had and he went for a similar fee.

I never understand this, they're in the Premier League, it's that simple. Crowds don't matter, it's a chance for him to showcase his talent at the highest league level in the world, if he stays here and has a poor season he might never get that opportunity again. I wouldn't care if it was Carlisle, if they're in the Premier League then you can't blame a player for wanting to go there.

I don't think £12m is a million miles away either. £12m, a few add ons, % of next sale etc and I think it's fine. We can't directly replace him but no reason why we can't go and get a couple of £5m midfielders to really add strength and depth to the midfield which we are badly lacking.
