We've accepted a bid of £12m for Tav

And that taviener is going to a team that is going to be relegated….
Thick cnut or just about money !!!
How is he a thick cnut? Would anyone we sign be a thick cnut as we are either going to not go up or have the same odds of coming back down if we go up as a newly promoted club? Meanwhile he will be earning loads and advancing his career, how exactly does that make him thick?

Bournemouth have spent 5 of the last 7 seasons in the prem, winning championship season before that and coming second and sixth the two seasons in the last 7 they spent in champo. Meanwhile we have had 1 season in the prem after coming 2nd, got relegated and one top 6 finish and nearly got relegated to league one

Any pro player that cant kick a dead ball close to goal should not be at pro level. Any one in the team can match Tavs free kick record
Or corners, 1 in 3 decent deliveries at best! If the money is spent wisely we really won’t miss this guy!

And will need international clearance.
No he won't. International clearance is only required if a player is moving between countries. Last time I checked, Brentford was in the UK.

Perhaps you're getting mixed up the requirement for a work permit?

He obviously has a work permit already, and all that happens when a player moves betweens clubs in England is that the new club submits an application to the FA who have to review whether he still meets the criteria.

So long as there have been no major changes in his circumstances since he joined Brentford, I don't think there should be too much of a problem.

There's also the fact that he's been in England since 2012 when he joined West Brom so again, I'd be surprised if there were a problem with him continuing to be in the UK.

We sold loads of better layers without the outrage seen on here, please calm down until we add a few more players, surely Wilder etc. can see the bigger picture.

Which better players have we sold without outrage in the last decade?

Ramirez and Braithwaite are the only two I can think of where people weren't bothered to see them go, and that's because both were publicly d***heads towards the club.

I can look back a lot farther than the last decade.

Hes at least doubled his wages and he's going to play in the biggest league in the world, from his point of vew its a no brainer.

Can't blame Tavernier at all, I just think the club have accepted too low an offer for one of our key players.
Or did Tav say listen i wanna go, let me go, and no other club was coming in for him, we need money to reinvest so we had to accept the money on the table otherewise, and Bournemouth knew that? Nobody has a clue

That McNeil is going to Everton for 20m+ he got 0 goals and 1 assist in a team that went down last year, going to a club that nearly went down. Is he 5-8m better than Tav, i wouldn't say so, but if players start forcing a move, and the selling club need the deal to go through to start spending the money, then beggars cant be choosers

Gibson was expected and we received decent money for him, Bamford had a lot of doubters also and that carried on at Leeds until his initial season in the Premier League.

Prove it - I stand by that 1 in 3 is generous. His corners for a professional footballer are atrocious.

No matter how bad you think Tav is at corners... If he's being chosen to take our corners, he's better than the 9 other outfield players on the pitch.

McNeil has over 130 Premier League appearances and has represented England U21s, so probably at 22 seen as a better bet than Tav.....Everton also probably with more cash to splash than Bournemouth after selling Richarlison.

Ask most Boro fans, would you rather have Tav or McNeil though.
