Well I've long wanted NW to manage our football club

The crowds when we are allowed back into the stadium will tell you just how much interest the club is generating.
I suspect there'll be a slight increase early doors, but if the quality of football doesn't change then you'll see people drift away and reclaim their Saturdays. A lot will already have found more important stuff to do during the pandemic anyway.

It's a mess but who knows what happens in May and June? Currently it's a case of "we told ya" - clearly we're not going to pull up trees next season unless we really bring in extra investment and that won't happen with Mr Gibson being hellbent in controlling everything.

There is no control over whether anybody is prepared to invest (or squander) funds into the Club. Concentrate on what can be influenced ie the football side. Wishing for extra investment is a dream not a plan.

The club has no long term strategy signings have been awful manager after manager something is wrong at the club above managerial level. I think we have to stick with Warnock I don't think there is anyone better but change is needed above.

I honestly don’t get the fuss but we’ve been here before

I said top 10 this season and still think we will.

Top 6 next.

Worst Boro team? It’s not even as bad as last season, or the last Mowbray season, or the Strachan era.

Or the end of the Pulis era of course 😉

it's frustrating as hell when we get into a rut like this, but some of the reaction seems a bit knee jerk even so. There are many mitigating circumstances for why the season has ended like this. Everyone knows what they are.

Warnock has made mistakes, but so do all managers and it would've been a minor miracle getting this side into the play-off places with the injuries to key players we've had.

there's still a good base to work with, but four players you'd expect to be big parts of that are out for the season now. Some of the others look like the tank is empty and I'm not surprised. When was the last time McNair wasn't playing 2 games a week for example?

Next season is the real test for me. Feels like everyone needs a break, including Warnock and us fans. I reckon most who aren't hard core glass half empty types will be feeling more optimistic come the start of next season.
