They are not just a "random set of players".
If thats your answer, you`ve missed the point.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
We have to deal with the hear and now.
We have what we have and thats our starting point.
Whether we had a "chance" [?] to get in "older heads" [like who?] - thats irrelevant.
Lets go out this afternoon and get a couple off the shelf [?]
An "older head" next to Carrick [?]. Wno?
Was anyone questioning that last season?
We need solutions, not blame game.
Pointless waffle Roofie, you are making the point I did, it isn't hindsight to say we need experienced additions, most of the board said it during the window as did Carrick.
Your list of players was pretty random as you said it was to demonstrate we need our experienced championship players to be utilised and two of those you listed have practically zero experience at this level.
I haven't blamed anyone, most of your bizarrely formatted points are nonsense and don't address any of the footballing points I've made either.
I'm simply saying we can't get anymore experience in the squad, and as an aside our experienced players have been dreadful too. Our failings are style / tactical choices from the head coach, it's not like every professional we have on the books is a bottom of the league level player. Like I said, if Karanka set this team up i doubt we'd be brilliant but we wouldn't have 1 point, no clean sheets and minus 9 GD six games in.
A good coach needs to be pragmatic at times, Carrick needs to find away to implement his passing style without being so open, to control the midfield, to keep a clean sheet.
Wilder was widely and soundly lambasted last season for a terrible start and refusing to change his formation/style when we didn't have the players to implement it, and it wasn't working at all.
We are in the exact same situation again 12 months later, but with a much weaker squad.
Wilder didn't change and we know how that ended, the ball is in Carrick's court. If we lose away, the next home game will be toxic as soon as there's the slightest error, or God forbid we go a goal down.
He's just has two weeks to sort us out on the training pitches, we looked worse in the first half than we have for the rest of the season.
