We were beaten by one goal away

I didn’t name you in that post, but you seem to have picked the hat up to wear, funny that.

Anyway, I like to debate with honest people, whether I agree with them or not. Sorry if my post touched a nerve and upset you, your posting is rather translucent though, your apologist posts come across as just that. I don’t appreciate anyone that sets out to deceive or hoodwink from the reality of any situation, anyway, you’re always busier after a defeat, so I’ll leave you to carry on with your business. Top tip, you can always put me on ignore or merely ignore my playful musings, thank me later. Enjoy your evening.
Strange way to stoke the debate, you don’t agree so it must be dishonest. The reality of our situation is that we are struggling he’s but we are a team still gelling and once we do that we will start to see vast improvements.

To the OP

Nobody is that focused on today's game , it's the start to the season as a whole

Surely you can't be that naive

“I’m confident in the next 3-5 seasons we will be all the better for the change in tactics.”

Wow 3-5 seasons so no rush then.

Who the hell do you think is sticking around 3-5 seasons to make this happen..

I did say I was concerned and acknowledged our results so far. I just think several people are over-reacting, don’t you think?
You said the same last week.

so just when will be the right time to show concern for our worst start to the season in decades.

Just so we know.

Well , I for one, will still be going to watch Boro every Saturday and bizarrely think we are going to win every game, call it stupid and naive but I am a fan and remember the days at Ayresome Park when we were down to crowds of around 3k, it’s just what I do on a Saturday, take the rough with the smooth, fuming today mind…😁
Same here but I’m still concerned.

Football is a deeply emotive subject and this was always going to happen with a start like ours, we are boro and nothing is ever easy.

We just need to back the lads more than ever.
Agree entirely.
If you dig in and find you`re unable to achieve the immediate objective straight away - you dont leave your post and retreat.
Keep the faith.
Ensure the Manager, coaching staff and players have the 100% backing of the fans and we will edge forward - even if its inch by inch.
The issues we currently face will fall by the wayside as we sharpen up in practice and on the pitch.
There are no problems, only solutions.
Any deviation from our current pathway is a fools way out.
Things will get chucked at us and make life even harder, but only the strong survive.
Like Carrick says, we will get there.....

I think we are being unlucky to an extent and you can't say we aren't having a go but results are always the measurement of success.

Respect your positivity... but do you ACTUALLY think that ? Watching the last six, seven ten games ?
I`de give it till we finish our tenth game.
We need the spine of a settled side.
We cant keep shaking up the smarty bag every week and pick out the first eleven.

I normally agree with the 10 game mark but if we lose on Tuesday that’s 7 games with one point so even on 10 games we’re still going to be in big trouble in the league.

And once again we’ve yet to play anyone decent in this league.

I’m worried

I`m certainly worried too.
We need to use those tried and trusted players with Championship experience and bring on the others gradually:
The likes of O`Brien, McGree, Josh, Jones, McNair, Barlaser, Crooks, Gilbert, Greenwood, Forss........

I agree Which is what made that bench yesterday all the more bizarre.
