We still need 6 new players to come in!

If Payero comes, he will be a creative force in the midfield and could play as a no10 too i think. We are desperate for pace out wide on both flanks. Ikpeazu wont be prolific. i am sure Watmore will score more, Tav possibly too. We lack depth, pace and creativity in the final third as ever. We are desperate for a Left back cover and CB too. Lumley is an unknown quantity and we have no cover there either.

I really do not see us as top 6 as we currently are. I think we need positions filling below and the list assumes Payero does sign. Some of those will need to be loans I’d guess and so may not come till just before deadline day.

RW (Ideally one of the wingers to be capable of playing centrally, like Bolasie)

My early season hope is tempered as we speak.
 
Keeper cover, left back and probably a couple of strikers for me.

Wingers is tricky - at the moment the lack of wingers has forced us into a CF with two narrow attacking mids tucked in behind. I genuinely think Warnock might stick with that rather than probably looking to bring in 3 wingers.

Prem loans may affect that but given our general lack of numbers we may need to utilise what we've got the best way possible rather than recruit to fit a formation we haven't got the players for.

By my reckoning we're about 9th/10th at the moment.
 
I expect a keeper, a defender (left sided) and a striker. I don't see the need to buy six. Loanees will provide cover and alternatives to change games (the commitment that you get from loaned players is unpredictable at best so we shouldn't rely on them)
 
I think over the years we’ve come to agreement on here that 80+ goals is what’s needed to go up and it’s difficult to see (although I think Watmore will get a few) where they’re coming from.

To he honest I would not recognise them if they were playing on Eston Rec. But saying that I have no idea how the other teams squads are like.

Looking forward to a day out in Blackpool even if I don't get in. Then back to my normal routine. A few beers, walk to the ground watch my team and then home.
 
I don't really want to judge a player of one game but from what I seen at York on Tuesday we are going to need a GK or face another Betenelliesk season in between the sticks

Our defence was solid last season and we had the core of a promotion winning team.. we’ve improved on that. Sure we have a few strikers to bring in but we had no one last season either. Fletcher was injured and Britt was.. lazy, idle, inefficient, ineffective..

I think that was due to injuries to key players and a squad that wasn't capable of filling in. We let in less than a goal a game with Fry and Hall at CB, but Hall missed one half the season adn Fry missed the other meaning only 6 starts together. Dijsteel also out a lot

And Bola is out injured already and we don't have another first team squad left back.
