Wayne Rooney to Plymouth?

What were the Plymouth management thinking by appointing him, he’s produced failure in every manager role he’s took on.

The worst was Birmingham City who were doing ok under eustace and sacked him for Rooney who made sure he ruined Birmingham and they got relegated.

What could they possibly see that was positive from his managerial record 🤷‍♂️

Great player appalling manager

Not sure why but great footballers can't take to management that easily, trying to teach things that came naturally to someone like Rooney must be very difficult. I think he is a good bloke which comes across in his interviews see where they are in 10 games time but even Guardiola would struggle to get a tune out of their squad.

On the evidence so far id agree but I’d quite like him to turn it around because I kind of think he’s gone about it the right way and not really shown the arrogance (possibly) of Gerrard and Lampard in expecting to go straight into managing top tier clubs.
Didn't Lampard start at second tier Derby? The same as Rooney?

He’ll be gone in 6-9 games after zero wins.

He seems a decent lad but he ain’t got what it takes to be a manager unfortunately
Just checked and we don’t play them until 21st December and he will be gone by then
Dam
Typical Boro would see us beat Burnleh, the Dirties and The Wall, before getting beat 1-nil off a Rooney-led Plymouth to follow (Shots; Plym - 1 Boro - 23, including a goal ruled out)

Believe me. we have more chance of beating them without him there.
