I am in Doncaster so not far from Rotherham and it hasn't stopped raining all day and it looks like it is set in.

I thought we decided against undersoil heating because of the long term damage it causes to the pitch. Opted for the inflatable cover that Caesium mentioned instead.

My son was traveling from Southampton by train yesterday. Got to Birmingham and discovered that all the trains were terminating before Darlington. He managed to get one via Tamworth so it wasn't too bad.
Now a tree has just fallen down outside my daughters house.

It's not as bad as that evening the Sunderland friendly had to be called off at half time though.

In fairness, it's been raining since about 9pm last night and hasn't stopped since and is forecast to rain till 9am tomorrow . The rivers are all starting to breach their banks, fields are like lakes. Regardless of the pitch it'll be a big effort to get there tonight.

Of course the fact its on sky will come into any decision
