Villa Ticket Info Released

We'll be coming up for it, prices are better than coming back for a Championship game. Do wish there was generally a bit more leeway for under-11s, I'd bring my lad back for loads more games if it wasn't £19 for a 7 year old. I'm losing him to Arsenal (don't know why he's picked them to support) but can't afford to take him to the Riverside as much as I'd like.
Said many times before our prices for youngsters are ridiculous, and at 18 it’s full price. Most Championship clubs have 18-21 or student tickets. I get that I have to pay £31 as I’m not a ‘loyal season card holder’, but we must be missing out on potential future fans?

If Villa sell their 3900 tickets, I think it will be somewhere in the 20-25k bracket. There'll be plenty of season ticket holders who don't bother.

Prices far too high, £20/25 to see our reserves play Villas reserves when it’s also live on BBC. Expect a low crowd unless we give Villa 7k tickets

Our reserves!? :ROFLMAO:

It will be as full a strength team as you're likely to see all season.

I'd be a bit annoyed if we didn't play a strong team if we've charged basically a full price.
We will rest players if we are in the league cup semi midweek. The league cup tie could even be against them Saudis up the road yet. That will be one of the biggest riverside game in the last decade

22k max , why the price difference ?, i think the tele will greatly reduce it & the KO time don't help either & you can be fairly certain sides will be 2nd choices

It is Boro pitted against the form team in the Premier League right now. They've just beaten Man City and Arsenal - a totally mouth watering fixture.
Villa are the form team, I hope they do well this season and manage to get in the top four but are Villa a team that you would get excited about going to see, for me, no.

Man U's name is a big draw, the Man City team are full of top name players, the Liverpool team are full of top name players and can always draw a crowd, Aresnal are another top team, Newcastle would draw a crowd for obvious reasons, Spurs - Son is worth the entrance fee alone, and Chelsea are still a team that can pull a crowd and people want to see.

There are teams (Leeds and Sunderland) in the Championship that would be more exciting than playing Villa and this fixture is certainly not mouth watering. The club has got it wrong with the prices for the time of year and the Port Vale fixture.

A lot of posters on here have been around the block more than once with Boro and when you mention the name Aston Villa feel complete apathy towards them, but I imagine for our younger supporters they could be getting excited at the prospect of playing them especially as they are potential league winners. You might get a lot of walk ups on that basis , especially if they are coming with parents.

Personally for me this might be the game to miss. Brighton last year was no fun, and Villa probs better than they were then.

My son wants to go to Millwall and hopefully there will be a league cup game. We will know that soon enough.

Aston villa are the only club in the east and west midlands that could be claim to be big, certainly in terms of historical support.
The rest think they are bigger than us, but in truth are similar in size or smaller.

I would day wolves are a bigger club than us

Fair enough, Villa are a decent draw but it's a third round game and it's live on the BBC.

100% should have kept it at £15 a ticket.
