Villa Ticket Info Released

It was £15 last season against Brighton, so disappointed in the jump, though that may be because of Villa wanting a higher cost tbf.

I'll obviously be going anyway, so at least it's not £25.

Interesting that they are opening up tickets to boro members first rather than using the priority points. I wonder if this is going to be the strategy going forward for in demand games.
I assumed by awarding 10 PP for having the membership, they would still use a tier system based on priority points rather than offering priority to Boro members.

I'm not sure I agree that someone who hasn't been to a home game all season could buy a membership and jump in front of people who have say 30 priority points from attending 10 matches.

Not that it was affect this match as I doubt it'll sell out but it may well become important if we got in the play-off or dare I say it, got to Wembley.

It's a home game. Aren't those with priority points season ticket holders so they get the first chance to buy their own seats?

Everyone has priority pints who has a ticketing account.

3 Priority points awarded per match.

They used priority points for prioritising ticket sales for the home match against Coventry in the play-offs. If I remember correctly the thresholds were 33+, 15+ and 9+ then general sale. So priority points are important for non season ticket holders as well. A lot of people got caught out as they had bought tickets without assigning tickets to their account and therefore hadn't collected points throughout the season. I had done this with my lad. He had been to about 6 games but only had 6 priority points as I hadn't assigned his ticket to his account when I bought them for each match, I know lots of other people who fell into the same trap.

We had 22,000 against Brighton in January, and that wasn't on TV.

We'll get more Villa fans, but I don't think it'll be close to 30k either.

We could also have a Carabao Cup Semi Final just a few days after so some people may choose to go to that over the Villa game which could also impact on attendance size.

Don't get me wrong, cheaper tickets would have been nice, but its £11 cheaper for me and my son than a Championship match costs. I think they are OK. To be honest the ticket prices look about right for what our normal league walk up prices should be.

It is Boro pitted against the form team in the Premier League right now. They've just beaten Man City and Arsenal - a totally mouth watering fixture.
Shame the prices aren't mouth watering, especially for non ST holders. For a 3rd round tie which is live on the BBC it's overpriced.
