Viktor Gyökeres

Adam Armstrong £12m - 25yo 2in23 PREM
Ben Brereton Diaz £10m - 23yo 22in37
Viktor Gyokeres £8m - 24yo 17in45
Rodrigo Muniz £7m - 21yo 5in25
Emil Riis Jakobsen £4.5m - 24yo 16in44
Cameron Archer £4m - 20yo 7in20
Joao - £3m - 28yo 10in24
Marcus Forss £2m - 23yo 1in11
Ellis Simms £500k - 21yo 5in17 SPL
Lys Mousset - Free - 26yo 3in7
Lewis Grabban - Free - 34yo 12in32

The numbers go ridiculous this time of year. £12.5m if we get chance to spend it can go a LONG way in the championship. Games played as much as goals scored will come into it this season, with games coming thick and fast.

14 Goals - Gyokeres - 45 games, fancied by Wilder. Got to be our number 1 target? Right?

10 Goals - Armstrong - If we can get him in on loan we’re heading in the right direction. (Fancied by Maddo) Muniz had a decent first season and I’m sure can contribute more in the right setting also a canny loan signing if the twitter likes are to be believed!

6 Goals - Gayle - that little bit extra, above and beyond what we’ve had before a Joao, Mousett or Grabban.. or do we go for another wonderkid?

Are we just sending ‘the Spence money’ straight over to Coventry for O’Hara & Gyokores? If Tavernier is off to Leicester I could think of worse things than £10m + Choudhury.

Greaves from Hull then Muniz & Armstrong in on loan. If only it was that easy!!

Some squad that tho!!
We will be paying in installments, Spurs might not be, or a shorter time frame.

But from a FFP perspective we will get 12.5m profit for this years FFP calc. If we signed Gyokeres for 12m on a four year deal, it would only be 3m on our FFP calc. We would still be 9m better off.

Keegan/McDermott persuaded Lee that Newcastle by train was nearer to London because no change was required, so it was quicker in time.

Maybe Lee could not drive and in those days players could not afford to fly on a regular basis.

Newcastle, no way.

Sunderland, I still don't entirely believe it but wouldn't rule it out completely. It depends on the cash they have and if they want to make a 'we're back in the (relative) big time' type of signing. If Sunderland stumped up the cash I could see him going there, I just doubt they would drop that much of their budget on one player when they need to strengthen in all areas.
Not sure how Sunderland could even do it, and stick to FFP?

Would be one hell of a gamble on their part, as if it went t*ts up they would be back down in League 1 in no time.

I can't see why he would go there either, he would probably see them as a downgrade on Coventry and we're surely an upgrade.

Think the mags would be setting their sights higher, if they wanted anyone.

Cov playing a friendly tonight.
Wonder if he will play?

Did he say ' farewell appearance before going to the north east ' which could be
He says tata to the fans and players at the game but doesn't play. Might be Bull, soon find out.
Re Sunderland and no money, Ross Stewart has 1 year left on his contract so could be sold for £4m giving SAFC a chunk of cash which could be toward his upgrade in Gyokores
