Hope the drop wasn't too far - ambulance there but they haven't brought him up yet. Trying to follow Nibali on a descent is always risky. Italian TV saying he's conscious.

Remco is conscious. Thats something positive. Think he was trying to latch on to Nibali on that mad descent. Nibali has no fear on those fast descents. It had to happen to one of the new cycling sensations.

Good news from DQS - heavy bruising to the legs, so maybe nothing broken. Excellent news if correct.
Just seen the replays. Horrific. Amazing if he escapes without broken bones.

Will be interesting if Roglic has to abandon as rumoured this morning and
A) Hand the Dauphine to Pinot

Anyone else think that Ineos are playing an elaborate game of bluff ?
Make Lotto-Jumbo tire themselves out doing all the work in the Dauphine, with only 2 weeks to recover before the TDF ? Convince them, and all the other teams that they're suffering and not on top form ,and given there's a relatively hilly first week they miraculously show form when needed in two weeks time.....

No don’t really believe that. Think they are short of form.
Hmm - probably just not worth taking the risk after all the crashes yesterday. Suspect no big deal.
There are a lot of riders today without a team leader / protected rider that might be let off the leash to ride for themselves. Could be a great stage in prospect as I'm not sure FDJ will be able to (or particularly want to) control things like a Jumbo or an Ineos
