Vaccine passports

Whilst I wouldn't want to disclude non vaccinated people, yeah ban the under 50's, where do I sign up. :D . My local social club would laugh at you if you ordered a bloody mary, neverr mind a fancy dan cocktail. Sex on the beach you say? Feck off and take your perversion with you.

The point may be valid, but we can't create process based on the exception, it has to be focused on the 'rule' to be in any way effective, otherwise you have countless, unsustainable permutations

Not sure I agree Artie, blind folks are the exception not the rule. At what number do you have to become inclusive. Anyway stop dragging me back in.. I have no willpower and love the sound of my own typing.

A whiskey with a mixer is classed as a cocktail in my local and any request for such is not well received. Pints for the gents, vodka or fruit-based drinks for the ladies. The food 'menu' reads: crips, nuts, pickled eggs, chippy over the road

I was referring to the low number of religious fanatics who won't get vaccinated, as pointed out by Soutra. It being a low number maybe shouldn't be a driver to exclusion. At what point would the number be considerred high enough to be significant.

All we can do is engage and educate those fanatics, there is great work being done and eventually the message will get across, but it takes time. For those few who remain adamant, there is little else can be done. We can't hit 100%, to try is great endeavour, but to expect is futile
 
If we get over 80% take-up it will be a fantastic effort. I am hoping for a bit higher given the media coverage covid has had. Try and tease and encourage the reluctant. Some are hopeless cases and no amount of coaxing will work.

Trainers that cost three times the amount of a cheap pair of shoes. Hair too long. I don't think we did tolerate it. Just went elsewhere to places that didn't put stupid restrictions on people. I wouldn't give my money to places like the ones you mean. In away I was quite happy not to get in some of the nightclubs. Sh1t music, sh1t beer, full of p1ssed up thugs in suits that wanted to thump you if your hair was over your collar.

Remember one time about a dozen of us went to one of those Medieval Banquets somewhere near Darlo I think. God knows why as it wasn't our thing at all. Anyway the wouldn't let us in because we all had long hair, flares, trainers etc. Never got our money back. So a few weeks later we hired top hat and tails tucked our hair up in side the hat and got in no bother. As we all came down the huge flight of stairs we all removed our top hats and let our hair cascade down. We had a good night but never went back but we proved our point that "clothes don't maketh the man".

Group them all together and call them Ghettos. Don't need a passport just put a star on their jackets so people can see them.

Not anti vaccine by the way. I have had mine. I just think some of the comments on here are getting ridiculous(as is mine above). I believe in the vaccine but I do not believe people should be persecuted for their own beliefs.

Why not use everyone's passport? It's big enough, get a stamp with a unique number which can be cross referenced to your NHS record. No need for people going abroad to have another piece of paper. For those without passports then they need a little certificate.

No body knows if any vaccinations are 100% safe - it can take several years for side effects to appear. I can understand people been concerned. The chance of a middle aged person dying from covid is probably 1 in 10,000 - its still very low. Although I accept its different for over 50s.

People seem to think viruses can be completely made safe - remember we lived with approx 40k UK deaths a year (110 a day) from Flu in the 1990s and nothing was ever closed down was it?

It looks like nearly 90% will take the vaccine in the over 50s group plus 90% of NHS workers plus many people had had it the Virus now (over 25% and much higher with younger people) so the virus is going to have a diificult life spreading after April in the UK. We have also made it more difficult for it to be brought into the UK. Eventually Covid will also mutate into something less fatal, it s not usually good for viruses to kill their hosts.

A lot of people don't have smart phones (20%) or phones that are capable (another 20%) for carrying the tech issued by the Govt - that was shown on the Isle of Wight when the NHS app was introduced. A card or paper copy needs to issued as alternative to Smart App certificate if people went down vaccine passport route. Personally I think its extreme to control people after the vaccine programme has been completed, except with those travelling to countries with high Covid.

There is about 10 old guys(saying this as someone who is 67:oops:) who go in the pub where I (used to) drink who meet up every Monday Wednesday and Friday afternoon. 90% do not have smart phones with NHS app. Just like in many cases in this day and age we just assume that we rely on technology to run our lives. For some it still doesn't.

The vaccines, they state that they can't promise that they don't cause infertility in both men and women.

Why are doctors being deplatformed and censored? Actual Doctors and Scientists. Why would they deplatform them? Seems odd to me. People who care for people.

How easy is it to corrupt?

People need to open their eyes a bit more before its too late.

Look up "The Great Reset" and Agenda 2030 or 201 as it was previously known. Then analyse it properly.

It seems simple to me: if you don't have the vaccine you sit upstairs on a bus, have a separate bar in the pub, taxis can be vacine or non vacine only, Aldi for vacine, Lidl without, South Stand no vacine ... We make like too complex.
 
South Stand could be renamed the Covid19 Death or Glory Stand and the North Stand in memory of Capt Tom - the NHS Tom Stand?

Most folks dont carry their passport to the pub, gig, stadium, theatre, etc. They do have their phone on them though
