Absolute certainty Rishi, Mogg and chums will be getting richer by the second.
 
Vaccines have just started at our health centre this morning, which also happens the be the main centre for the villages in the local area. I live opposite it, our road is like the M25 at rush hour atm.
 
It will get busier once the Astazenica vaccine is given the go whead. 28th or 29th according to some reports. Just been one of those vaccine calculators if they are to be believed they came up with the same time frame as my sticking my thumb up in the air method. For 70+ sometime in Feb.
Surely Johnson and co can't **** this up😩😩🙏🙏
 
What was interesting was when I was getting my appointment for my follow up jab, I was told that you can have an appointment up to a week before the 21 days are up.

I wonder if it will affect the effectiveness? What are you going to do?
 
250k a week are been adminstered - 15m to do? if 4m refuse it thats 11m to do - my maths says 88 days to do everyone in target group with 2 doses. They started around December 9th - Target groups could be done by Mid March.

Maybe posters could confirm or not confirm my numbers.

They have at least had the sense to leave the vaccination program with actual experts. I expect that it will happen pretty smoothly. They had a dry run with the flu jab, which for me was a drive-thru arrangement in Darlington Football Stadium car park and worked well.

Of course there is plenty of scope for them to fukkup monumentally in other areas...

As someone above states this will accelerate as other vaccines are approved particularly ones that do not require the refrigeration requirements of the Pfizer/Biontec one. I understand that they believe that they will be able to vaccinate 2m per week once the full program is underway.
