I don’t know his exact wage, like you say. I just know he will have been on very similar wages to Britt Assombalonga.

Bamford needed the move before his career went down the pan so a small wage cut was hardly inconceivable. Britt over doubled his wages.

Trying to apply logic to transfer fees and wages is a waste of time anyway these days.
