Unvaccinated 29 times more likely to be hospitalised

Fair enough, and I’m pointing out that the medical consensus is that long term effects aren’t an area of concern with these types of vaccines. We can be positive that the boffins will be keeping an eye on everything anyway.
earlier today I was caught up in the fact that another thread was started after the one from yesterday was closed and trying to get on top of my mail orders from the weekend. I would have posted a bit better than i did.

I try to not get involved in these debates because it's generally the same people copying and posting govt sponsored links.

😂
You are either in denial or they’ve really done a good number on you.
It’s ok to admit that you’ve been completely conned, you know. There is no shame in it. These anti-vax groups are clever and use clever techniques to fool decent people.
It doesn’t make the people who fall for it bad people.
It’s ok to admit to yourself that you’ve been conned, even if you don’t admit it to anybody else.

Fabio i'm sorry but i don't know what you're referring to, but good luck

As I said the technology of vaccination is proven.

So no, the limited time available for testing is not an important point. It is trivial. You are plainly finding yourself in a confirmation bubble with what you are fed from news feeds. Read some of the scientific studies on the vaccines (remember there are multiple versions) or talk to someone in the frontline a nurse or a doctor.
I'd have to look into the development of previous vaccines. My understanding the long term effects were measure over long period, such as 30 years and beyond.

I've got friends who are drs thanks

i don't know how to reply to that? I think it's fairly conclusive that we don't know whether there are side effects. That's fairly conclusive

We’re going round in circles. We do know there are side effects.

There were massive trials, the biggest in history for each vaccine. There are some short term, mostly very minor, side effects. In very rare occasions there can be serious side effects, as with any vaccine. However, whilst no vaccine is 100% effective, the covid vaccines dramatically reduce you catching covid, and if you do, the chance of you getting seriously ill or dying is massively reduced when compared to unvaccinated.

We now have millions vaccinated. The side effects are massively well documented.

Long term side effects are not typical, recorded or expected with this type of vaccine, as I’ve previously mentioned.

I haven't touched on side effects smoggle. Not at all

I disagree with your last comment, because all we can do is wait at this moment in time.

This is when it just goes round and round and round and round.

have a good night because i've got better things to do. xxx

I think folks take vaccinations for granted it seems like a lot do not trust the government either and some think there is some kind of ulterior motive behind the vaccine.

They trusted them enough to vote them in.. but now would rather risk their lives than take medical advice/recommendation just in case it’s some worldwide conspiracy plot!

If anything the government want people back at work as soon as possible and don’t want to be paying out for medical care.
This report is for the USA where it is the right wingers that are vaccine sceptic. And it's the more centrist Democrats that are now in power.

Here in the the UK it tends to be the more liberalist left wingers that are not getting the vaccine.

In either case the anti-vaccers did not vote for their respective governments.

I'm seeing it on social media that it's the alt right that are labelled anti vax SD and this is coming from some friends that are from the anarcho punk scene of the early 80s. I wasn't part of it if you ask. I can't work it out.

that's not what i wrote Muttley .
No, I extrapolated for comic effect. But you mentioned that long term effects may become known in 30 years time. So logically you think that either we wait 30 years or hope for the best? My point is that long term effects are not expected because we know how vaccination works. It is a proven technology and the example of the 1957 Flu Pandemic proves that vaccines can be developed very quickly and are extremely unlikely to produce any long term effects in the greater population. Labelling the long term effects as "unproven" is a very good example of a scare story designed to make people doubt the safety of the vaccine.

we were getting on so well before then.

I'm looking into the 57 flu pandemic and will get back to you.

It's fair to say that they are unproven and let people make their own mind up imo, but maybe not yours.

I am just talking from personal experience. All the anti vax and for that matter anti - mask people I have come across are very liberal in their views and definitely didn't vote for our current government.

I mentioned side effects in response to your post which I quoted. Not sure I understand what you mean about not touching on them, but anyway, yes, we seem to largely disagree and this is repetitive but no hard feelings, enjoy your evening too and stay safe.
