Unusual Cover Versions

KESTRELS – “LAST CHRISTMAS” (WHAM! COVER)

As Brooklyn Vegan states:
Does the world need another cover of Wham!’s “Last Christmas”? Probably not but shoegaze group Kestrels do put a new spin on it.

 
LAIBACH – “I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS” (FOREIGNER COVER)..............................putting their own spin on it. Like it actually.


 
ANAMANAGUCHI – “TERRITORIAL PISSINGS” (NIRVANA COVER)................................not sure what to make of this. Some might scream sacrilege but I think its quite interesting if nothing else.



Anamanaguchi put their chiptune spin on Nirvana’s Nevermind track “Territorial Pissings.”



 
MITSKI – “LET MY LOVE OPEN THE DOOR” (PETE TOWNSHEND COVER).............................I'll bet this is a cover nobody saw coming. Quite like it actually.

But before that. Our chums from Brighton, The Big Push have done a few pop-ups in their home town over the summer. Never pre-announced but drawing pretty big crowds. And this is a cracking version of "Knocking on Heaven's Door" (Bob Someoneorother) check out Ren's bass line...
