Unlikeable players.

Lad that played for Newcastle that got into a fight, always flashing his money about...forget his name....
Good player though

Morgan Rogers

Reminds me of Marcus Rashford, in that you would NOT want him in the trenches with you.

The lad must be an athletic 6 foot plus, and yet fannies out of any physical battle.

Compare it to Chuba, a man of similar build, who used to encourage the duel just so he could hold them off and lay the ball off into space

🥱

I’m not totally sure this is true.

Even if it is, has Carrick decided yet when he’s going to tell Rogers the same thing?
To be fair to Akpom, his renaissance started in the summer before Carrick arrived. It was as if something finally snapped inside him and he was going to succeed in England, at Boro, no matter what. Carrick’s management and/or methods brought out the skill and technique in him, and the confidence he was gaining week on week led to him being the best player in the division.

But for the time he was playing for us before that, he was absolutely terrible. I remember posting on here after a game in which Warnock brought him on with about half an hour left and he touched the ball once or twice. He didn’t win headers, his first touch was poor, he didn’t make chances for himself, didn’t get into goalscoring positions and didn’t embrace the physical side and get stuck into defenders.

With Rogers, he’s still a young man. He’s learning the game. When he finds his position and finds his rhythm and matures into a senior player, he will gain confidence and be more involved in games. This is something a lot of young players have to go through. Some love a tackle or a bit of contact straight away like Fry or Hackney, others are different. As his confidence and maturity hopefully grows, so will other aspects of his game. But the bottom line with a player like Rogers is that he will beat you with skill

It’s just a matter of allowing them time and space to develop into senior players. Having the injuries and suspended seniors back around him will help no end.

Funny how there are players you hate, then they come and play for the Boro and you love them.
Morsy was the opposite, thought he was a decent player for Wigan and wanted us to sign him.

Came here and And endedup hating him and have done ever since 😂

Vinnie Jones….horrible thug.
I was at Elland Rd watching Leeds play Sheff Utd when Vinnie Jones was at Sheffield and he came out before kick-off with two boxes of cream cakes, made his way to the disabled supporter's section in the corner and gave them a cake each and posed for pictures. Jones then made his way back to the dug out, got two more boxes and went to the other corner containing disabled supporters and repeated the actions above.

It is no good reporting that, it doesn't sell papers.

He also beat his neighbour senseless in an argument over a stile

No amount of cream cakes for disabled supporters stops him being a thug

What about him giving up his free time and spending it at St James’s children’s hospital with kids who have cancer. Does that help?
