The lad must be an athletic 6 foot plus, and yet fannies out of any physical battle.

Compare it to Chuba, a man of similar build, who used to encourage the duel just so he could hold them off and lay the ball off into space

Akpom was absolute dogsh*t for the three years before Carrick got hold of him, including shying away from making tackles and being physical with defenders. You have to give Rogers time to mature, adapt, develop. It took Akpom almost a decade of senior football to become a star player. Rogers has had nowhere near that yet.

I find it really uncomfortable to see his name on a thread like this tbh.

Don’t get me wrong, there is a player in Rogers. He has unbelievable balance when he carries the ball and can glide past defenders. But the lack of fight ***** me off
