UK exports to European Union drop 40% in January

This. There is seemingly no end to the delusion.
@HundredRoom things it's all made up. Farage is a good old sport who tried his best for the working classes and the country in general, and nobly conceded thinking he'd been beaten fair and square (ignoring his pollster friends who had called it the other way). Maybe you'd even like a pint with him?

I read it described as a working class revolution on here the other day.

We now know that Farage was in receipt of polling data that showed Leave had won. This was actually a lie. The question is why would he say what he said? The answer lies in some rather dubious heavy movements in hedge fund betting by associates of the vote leave campaigns by the looks of it.
you got anything of evidence of fact to back that up ?
I note that you qualify it with "by the looks of it"

Namely
1 Farage was in receipt of polling data saying the opposite to what he said at the time. ? Well he was almost certainly aware of exit poll data. Whether he exploited that to come out and say the opposite to make a few quid on trading the pound is just your fantasy.

2 He was betting / speculating on currency movements - Was he ? Brave man if he was because that market was very volatile at the time.

or is it all "by the looks of it".

Wish I'd thought of that summary. Very accurate and succinct.

Or possibly you think that the 65.5% of Middlesbrough that voted leave are upper class tory toffs.

I would love to chew the fat with Nigel over a pint, just like you would.

Way_Out_West provided good answers for you before you asked your questions.

It’s a side issue I don’t really care about except as a pointer to the character of Farage, who is, to me, a dishonest grifter and a (admittedly cleverer than most) racist.

So you don't have evidence then.
And casually slip in the racist slur to add weight to you thoughts.
Well done

The Bloomberg article is the product of sound investigation.

Farage was considered to have fascistic leanings at school, he associates with racists, befriends them, praises them. He is obsessed with immigrants.

It wasn’t a casual slur, it’s my carefully considered opinion, on the balance of probabilities. At the point of the referendum I was just about prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt, but, well, come on, you’ll be telling me Trump isn’t racist next.

Don’t tell me this fella is now defending Farage?

You are kidding? That's actually scary that some people still believe that. I wish we had better political education in this country.

I am absolutely serious. A working class revolution driven by those revolutionists and men of the people Johnson, Gove, Farage, Mogg et al

Just because a large proportion of the people of Middlesbrough voted leave doesn't mean that Brexit was a working class revolt. It was far more heterogeneous than that. The uniting factor was that people 'felt' left behind or they felt their country had changed for the worse - but you can be relatively comfortably off and still feel that way.

I've heard many ridiculous things about brexit. I don't think I've heard anything that crazy before though!

It's getting interesting this week. The EU are starting proceedings against us for unilaterally breaching the WA/NI protocol. The US Senate are placing a resolution to reinforce the Good Friday agreement.
