Off the top of my head didn't we last get promoted with our top goalscorer barely in double figures? Thinking Ramirez or stuani?Apart from an almost 1 goal in 3 games purple patch for Cambridge, he's a 1 goal in 5 games striker so even over 46 games will struggle to reach double figures.
There are going to be games that we need to dig in & fight for a point and I'm sure he'll give it some effort but he isn't going to score the goals to get us in the top 6.
Nugent with 8 league goals, stuani and ramirez had 7 eachOff the top of my head didn't we last get promoted with our top goalscorer barely in double figures? Thinking Ramirez or stuani?
That's correct.Off the top of my head didn't we last get promoted with our top goalscorer barely in double figures? Thinking Ramirez or stuani?
IMHO, without even seeing him play, Im confident he'll be a vast improvement on both Fletcher & Assombalongs, he'll have a presence about him & won't not be bullied, yes every signing is a gamble bot thos e strikers mentioned cost a forture & gave very little back@newusername sometimes players just click at certain points in their career with a manager or a team. I remember Daryl Murphy with 34 goals in 9 seasons, then he got 13 and then 27 the next 2 years at Ipswich under McCarthy. If anyone can get goals out of a 6 foot 3 lower league lump then Warnock can.
His figures for Wycombe were pretty good last year. I agree that we shouldn't expect big numbers from him, but with McNairs deadballs, you can see him getting more than with Wycombe. We won't really know though until we see him playa few games and see who else we sign, he might end up being a super sub
“Bob Mugabi”!! I wondered where he’d gone.
