The whole print at home thing is old hat tech and needs replacing so you can scan on your phone . Imagine having to print at home to use boots advantage points or Tesco or m&s points systems
Who has a printer nowadays? If so I wonder if they keep it next to the fax machine? The whole print at home thing is old hat tech and needs replacing so you can scan on your phone . Imagine having to print at home to use boots advantage points or Tesco or m&s points systems
I have a multi-function colour laser printer. There are times when you have to use paper, especially when dealing with government departments. Recently, I've needed to print out bank statements etc, for proof of address. Needless to say, the fax connection is not set up - I've no landline.Who has a printer nowadays? If so I wonder if they keep it next to the fax machine?
For sure the bar code reader element of the access reader doesn't seem as effective and forgiving as the chip reader for the normal cardsThe whole print at home thing is old hat tech and needs replacing so you can scan on your phone . Are you for real?Who has a printer nowadays? If so I wonder if they keep it next to the fax machine?
I can't believe how many super fans we have. It's time letters went in and a pressure group lobbied for the vetting of potential supporters.I love it when people lose tha ability to count (if they even had the ability in the first place)
Love to see them looking for their seat, seat number 178 for example. "Seat 138, not that's not it, seat 139, not that's not it, seat 140 , no that's not it.
We also need to discuss the elephant in the room with cup games. There were very obviously people in the West Stand that were absolutely not West Stand material. Stewards just looked on gormlessly.
It can be a problem at unfamiliar stands or grounds finding your row and seat - compounded by many clubs printing the details in small font on tickets, sometimes in a grey type face. If it is a night match or in winter light it can be really hard to read where to go. Ask a steward at Blackburn and he shrugs his shoulders and disappears back into his hood.I can't believe how many super fans we have. I take from your astonishment that you use a printer regularly? Maybe I am in the minority but I honestly have not printed anything for at least 5 years. Prior to that I used to print the odd thing at work. Are you for real?
You do still get asked to print for some gigs, though less and less.I take from your astonishment that you use a printer regularly? Maybe I am in the minority but I honestly have not printed anything for at least 5 years. Prior to that I used to print the odd thing at work.
I don't know whether I have just phased out using things that would require a printer or whether processes have changed?
Didn't someone buy a Holgate turnstile when Ayresome was demolished?Maybe people could have a turnstile at home so they can practice. Read this during the summer...........................
I bought a York City turnstile at auction. It’s the best £300 I’ve spent
When Bootham Crescent was bulldozed and sold off, I snapped up a cast iron turnstile. It is a portal to vanished worldswww.theguardian.com
