That was one of the most embarrassing moments I’ve ever seen from a person in a position of power, in any field, ever. Absolutely shocking!

Just watched it again, and translated her comments for anyone that hasn't seen it:
"I grew up somewhere where I know what it's like to not see growth"
TRANSLATION -- I'm from a working class town and suffered under Margaret Thatchers neoliberal ideology (Don't think she meant this, but there is no other interpretation)
"Since the 2008 financial crisis, the potential of this great country has been held back by persistently weak growth"
TRANSLATION -- successive conservative governments, with their austerity, brexit, and low regulation ideology have FAILED to deliver any meaningful growth. Prior to the crash we had significant growth, under labour. (Don't think she meant this, but there is no other interpretation)
"I want to deliver a low tax, low wage, high growth economy"
TRANSLATION -- I want the UK to be a tax haven, dragging down global taxation on corporations in a race to the bottom. Ripping apart workers rights and consumer controls for the benefit of the ultrarich.
"That mission remains"
TRANSLATION -- My mini-budget was correct, the markets, economic experts and the public are wrong, and I will continue to move towards this goal
"continuation of Putin's apalling war"
TRANSLATION -- Not my fault
"Parts of our mini-budget went further and faster than markets were expecting"
TRANSLATION -- Economic experts don't get it, they're wrong.
"I have decided to keep the increase in corporation tax decided by the previous government"
TRANSLATION -- I'm taking charge now after the chancellor messed up. But if it's wrong then it's the fault of the previous government who proposed this, not me.
"We will control the size of the state to ensure taxpayer money is well spent, our public sector will become more efficient"
TRANSLATION -- If you work in the public sector expect further squeezing, you're job is on the line. That is the cost you are going to have to endure because you've made me u-turn.
"Spending will grow less rapidly than previously planned"
TRANSLATION -- my fag packet economics has been ruined by YOU, the markets, the experts, the press and the public. My plans were right, you were wrong.
"I met the chancellor today, I was incredibly sorry to lose him, he is a great friend"

Bit of a biased report here.
Gives her no credit for taking decisive action again today, having already done it in September to stop everyone having to pay fuel bills of £6500 because of Putin's evil obnoxious war.
