Trump ahead of Biden in US opinion polls

It would be worrying if the polls were remotely accurate or worthwhile:

"Based on New York Times/Siena College polls of 3,662 registered voters from Oct. 22 to Nov. 3"

less than 4000 voters across 6 states. Means absolutely nothing.

I think Trump won't run in the end. One way or another.

He'll completely overshadow all of his Republican 'colleagues' and whoever picks up the nomination will have zero political capital.

Its a very strong possibility that he will be the next president of the USA. Its just getting more certain the closer we get.

He will win.
As when he won previously when it was an Anti-Clinton vote, it will be an Anti-Biden victory.
Americans I know are really concerned with Biden’s health and think he should have stepped aside.

Trump won't win. His policies, if that's what they are, won't appeal to moderates and in particular the abortion issue will impact him and the whole GOP.
Plus, he's facing huge legal issues which will become increasingly apparent to the voting public as the election gets closer. Right now he's only facing the civil suit, but once the criminal trials kick in then even those who get curated news will start to see exactly what he is.
As for the Biden health issue, Trump is in the same boat, infact he's probably way more addled than Biden will ever be.

Trump is favourite with the bookies at 6/4. Biden is 2/1. Both parties are 20/21 to win though so it is close and Trump is leading because it's more likely he wins the Republican nomination than it is that Biden wind the Democrat nomination. I suspect as we get closer and Trump gets to speak more the opposition will increase.

Anyone putting money on a Trump win is just throwing their money away.

First he has to stay out of jail. Next he has to stay solvent. Then he has to win the Republican nomination (probably the easiest thing in this list). Next is raise enough money to run a campaign. Then he has to win the election, he hasn't won anything since 2016 nor have any of his endorsed candidates.

He sells news so the media suck up his nonsense. He will not be the next president

I mean you couldn't be more wrong, if you paid any attention at all to US politics you would know it's highly unlikely Trump wins in 2024.

Once the head to head with Biden starts then all of Trump's fascist ideas will be laid bare to the public and given what he said at the weekend he will abhor anybody who believes in democracy.
When you start calling the opposition 'vermin' and saying you'll use the military to quell opposition then calling your opponents fascist is a moot point.

Trump is probably ahead in the polls right now because he is actively on the campaign trail, doing whining in front of rednecks every day. Biden hasn't started the campaign trail yet.

"Trump won't win" Heard that last time. Brexit won't happen. Did. Russia won't invade Ukraine. Happened.

Whatever the consensus is, the opposite normally happens.
