That was one hell of a climb. Absolutely no hiding place and the strongest man on the day won. No spoilers.
Excellent ride. Fair play to Bahrain for taking JV out of their comfort zone. Shame Landa didn't have it in him to challenge for the stage. They set it up for a cracking stage though.

Carapaz hung on way longer than I expected!!

If Carapaz hadn’t flogged himself yesterday he may have hung on. Basically just One more stage for Ineos to potentially win. They wont win 19 or 21 as they are sprint stages and they won’t win the ITT either unless Castrojevo has a stormer.

What a stage it was too. Hats off or chapeau to Richard Carapaz. Three days in the row in the break and finally brought home the bacon. Wonder why Kwat was given the stage by the Team? Older?

Never had a grand tour stage despite all the selfless work he has done. Well deserved. Carapaz got the polka dot, kwat got the stage. Seems fair

Well, that is the most insane thing I have seen in a bike race I think .... even topping Froome's 90km solo win.

Is he clean? I friggin hope so but it seems unlikely.
