I don't disagree. I would assume there are tory mp's who don't much like what's going on either. They should, of course use their vote in the commons which they are not doing so that just leaves the one conclusion.

Nope I didn't say people shouldn't call others names. Nothing wrong with a bit of name calling. I would draw the line at subhuman scum when leveled at someone you don't know. As has already been explained critisizing a minister who is a rule maker with the word scum has some merit. Attacking democracy by calling all tory voters subhuman scum is very different. I really don't see what is difficult to understand in that

It's nothing to do with me being smarter than you, at least I hope not.

Port, bloody port. What are the working class coming to for chrissake? I'm off to the pub shortly to see quite a few of my friends. Most of them vote Labour, but a few of them vote Tory. But, they are ALL nice people, just that some of them are deluded occasionally, I'll leave you to guess which ones I mean.

Merry Christmas one and all, including Erimus74, who although I disagree with his politics is generally an entertaining poster about all things to do with our club. It would be a shame if you feel the need not to post on this board mate.

Well I am pleased for you. Unfortunately my brother didn't manage to get up from London due to the strikes but he's accepting of the situation. We'll see him sometime early next year.

He really is oblivious to it . He’s going around everywhere calling people bigots while he is incapable of realising he is one himself . I gave up trying to have a rational debate with him over immigration for example . I tried suggesting more people coming to the island will inevitably take up more green space as more housing is needed , pollution levels will rise with more cars and more farmland needed to feed an increasing population . Such arguments are apparently “far right “. It isn’t , it’s just not what he wants to hear. I could understand if the argument of “there are too many brown people coming in” was raised , but it wasn’t . Those aren’t opinions, those are facts . More people inevitably means more resource demands on the island .Even more hilarious is I’m a remainer.

Marking people as “scum” for thinking differently to you to me isn’t a moderate view to have . First it’s scum , then as the hate builds you de-humanise them more , soon enough you feel physical harm against them is justified because you justify to yourself that you are right . This is what got the Labour mp assassinated . A Tory mp has already been killed too .

My wife voted corbyn in the last 2 elections, I voted Tory on the last 2 because of corbyn . I don’t think any less of her . She’s a very intelligent woman whom I love dearly , we just see differently on certain topics. I’ve voted Labour and Tory and even Lib Dem throughout my time . I change depending on who is most appealing . Political parties are NOT football teams . Political parties don’t deserve unwavering loyalty .
