Didn't he come out with some cr@p about his switching wings at half time so TP could guide him through the game?I'm not convinced by Carrick. Or at least I am convinced we won't get promoted. I do enjoy watching us when we are playing well and even when we are not the games are exciting. I hated everything about watching us under Pulis. Wins weren't even enjoyable. The only good thing was Traore and as much as Pulis likes to take all the credit it was all down to Traore's natural ability/physique. It was like an adult playing against kids but Pulis thinks it was all down to him.
Traore just needed game time as he lacked experience, he came good when he had enough games and it just coincided it was when Pulis happened to be manager so obviouslyDidn't he come out with some cr@p about his switching wings at half time so TP could guide him through the game?
Not sure why you would compare Pulis against Carrick when he had twice the wage budget
Mind blowing to me there are some boro fans who think Pulis is a better manager than Carrick
This is my jam.Regardless if he could, the squad has far too many fluffy weak attacking midfielders , barely any centre backs, and 1 ball winner
Carrick has to play to the teams strength, or at least attempt to
Yes , Bring back hoofball Pulis

That would be a typical Pulis line up
Firstly. Check your attitude d1ckhead.Yes, but you can't do maths very well can you, thats the issue?

Pulis points per game is 1.58 not 1.68

Carricks is 1.61 per game
Do you reckon we could get him to come in as assistant to Carrick and get him to teach us how to organise a defence. Think our players and manager would benefit from defensive coaching course

We were leaky against Sheff utd and WBA as well don’t forgetI really don't think it's that straightforward. A lot of the goals we've conceded this season have been a consequence of our insistence on playing this high risk/high reward style of football.
The Swansea and Burnley home games show that we can defend. Against Swansea we were happy to allow them to have the ball after going a goal up and we were able to keep our shape and discipline that day. We barely gave them a sniff. Against Burnley it was obvious we were making a conscious effort to take less risks and be more disciplined off the ball and we were able to keep a clean sheet.
I don’t think it’s all that crazy really. I’m happy with Carrick, and I think he will go on to have a good career in management, but he is still brand new.Not sure why you would compare Pulis against Carrick when he had twice the wage budget

That is so right about Traore - it wasn't Pulis, it was for a period of time in the championship that Traore was unplayable - both assists and goals scored. The one part that doesn't usually get a mention was Bamford's role in that - he created gaps and space for Traore and Besic (to a lesser degree).I'm not convinced by Carrick. Or at least I am convinced we won't get promoted. I do enjoy watching us when we are playing well and even when we are not the games are exciting. I hated everything about watching us under Pulis. Its not about organising a defence, its about playing out from the back and knowing when not to.
I thought Travers decision making on that front was good on Monday night, and if there was no one really on he went long. Sol Brynn also seemed to know when to just hoof it up the pitch rather than play a defender into trouble and force a mistake.
