I've just said on the official matchday thread that we had five key players missing and down to ten men and they are still whinging about how we played.

They want us to be rubbish, so they can moan. This season must have been awful for them since Carrick took over.

Yes, we've had a good season. Yes, we're in the playoffs. Yes, some of our first team regulars were missing. The overall picture isn't bad.

At the same time, we played poorly today and the final result was deeply frustrating. I don't think it's unreasonable to point that out, or to express the hope that our next three matches won't continue in the same vein.

Well all I’m saying is it doesn’t really matter how we do it. I don’t care if we play the most boring or most entertaining/wreckless football we’ve played all season now, it’s purely about getting the 2 jobs done (qualifying for, and then winning, the final).

I think the big difference in the first leg vs a normal league game is there will be much less pressure on us to win the game. Our opponent will know how strong we have been at home and will need to take a decent lead into the second leg
