Time and time again that the referees...

In this league go on to prove how dreadful they are.

That guy today was the worst I've seen all season and we've seen some rogues in black this year.

Why are they never held accountable? They should be made to talk through their decisions and processes they used to get to them.

We must have lost at least 10 points this season as a result.

Terrible decision making from the official. Even worse that he was looking directly the tackle for Bola's goal.

The penalty at the end was definitely 50/50 at first look but I think Saville actually got to the ball first.

The last angle made it look like he got the ball to me

For all people moan about VAR some of the decisions we’ve seen this season would be cleared up by them and there would be some consistency applied you’d think

The camera shot from behind the goal shows him giving a corner
Their players shout at him and he gives the pen. 50/50 for me but shows what a spineless git he is.

As frustrating as this is. Ultimately it’s not going to matter this season. Fortunately nobody got up at 4am spunked £100 on travel and now has that long schlep home.

don’t forget it. Use it as fuel.

nothing against Swansea but their luck will run out. Play them next season

I thought he got the ball. Somebody guessed the decision in Swansea’s favour to give them the game.

You do have to wonder what is going on.

He does give the pen, then tells Warnock and the players at then end he gave it,
Liar
Incompetent

Just watched it again. Saville definitely gets to the ball first. The ref sees it gives the corner then points to the spot seconds later.

It's not good enough from the officials and Warnock is bang on in his assessment.

it's all there to be seen. referees must be accountable to somebody. how do you justify the decisions today? not just the big ones.. but the simple stuff like throw ins?

Serious question, Do other clubs experience this level of "incompetence" week in week out. If I supported say Blackburn or Huddersfield, would I be talking about criminal refereeing nearly every week ?????

It is mind boggling the Bola goal, as you say facing the players from a few yards away, inexcusable, I can't see how he can defend his actions on that one at all

Yep. Ask Stoke fans.

I would think so, I can't see them saving it for the Boro, unless we have a chip on our shoulder 🤔😔

I like this post, particularly about the long trip home after being done over by a bent ref 👍

If anything, when we got Warnock I thought we might get more decisions in our favour as I always felt ref's were scared to give decisions against his teams for fear of the backlash. If anything it's gone the other way. That today with Bolasie and that Karate Kick on Fry that Mr Miyagi would have been proud of are two absolutely shocking decisions.

To be honest it's nothing new. I've thought ever since we were relegated into the Championship under Southgate that the standard of refereeing in the league is very poor.
