Tier 3 for London imminent

Sure, I know some tier 3 areas have seen rises, but one would hope less so than if they had been tier 2. There's more than just individuals taking responsibility OR restrictions being in place, the war has to be fought on both fronts

Just teasing fella - I’m in the - ‘it’s not cut and dried camp’. Lots of coincidences not sure about cause and effect,
Or, maybe the virus just doesn’t understand our tier system.

Lampard arguing football crowds should be exempt now London is tier 3.
They should. To avoid clubs gaining an advantage at their home games all crowds should be banned until all grounds are open to some supporters.
It seems inconsistent with the integrity of the competition that some clubs can have fans at home games while others can't.

But they were rising rapidly back in late November when this new chapter started. Everyone I know in London says the tubes are basically back to normal now. So no wonder the virus has spread. As I say, don't be too surprised if they keep us all in tier 3 though 'to be on the safe side', why didn't they just do that last time?
Tubes were running at about a third of normal passenger numbers back in October. I certainly haven't seen a rise in numbers to a level comparable to pre lockdown when I have travelled in the last couple of months. Ive been travelling at 6pm to 7pm. I cannot recall an occasion when a carriage has been anywhere close to even half full. In fact I can't recall an occasion when anyone has sat next to me they're that empty. Mind you I don't wash as often as I used to.

Fine but different people obviously have different experiences.
