Feels like its been like that in the East Midlands since the beginning of March! [apart from about 4-6 weeks]:( (n)
Londoners will have to get used to it.

We've been basically in tier 3 since July (GM). I wonder if they'll take us out of it now? Or just make the basically the whole of urbanised England tier 3.

Yes we should know shortly - I’m in London bit or won’t really impact me - I can still go for a run so I’m good!! Feel a bit sad for the businesses out there struggling, I went into Canary Wharf today and the shopping centre was dead, how some of these businesses survive with the rates they have to pay I don’t know. It’s going to be huge blow to the economy but if the data shows we need it then so be it!

Usefully though Roofie, the wonderful Post have an article on the best pubs in Nottinghamshire, as one comment says, can we have the best places to snorkel in the North Pole next as this will be just as useful at the moment😩

Where did Ye Olde Trip rank?

It's been confirmed. I'm not sure how closing the pubs and restaurants - which is practically all the difference between tiers 2 and 3 - is going to make much difference when the main transmission is through schoolchildren. They need to close the schools now and clamp down over Christmas.

Who looks after the kids though? Are schools definitely still the main problem?

The figures last week showed that the big increase was among 11-18 year olds. Good point on looking after kids, but there's only three days left after today anyway.
