Well done Red Faction and it's a step in the right direction.
It's got us from being the most expensive to joint most expensive with Southampton and Coventry for child's ticket.
Personally I would like it to be around the £10 mark like the majority of other clubs to really bring the kids in but at least it's progress.
I know from some work with the FSA there is no set definition of concessions. So just as Rotherham offer OAP rates to over 60s some clubs also have different levels for under 12s, under 16s, under 18s.It is indeed.
I wonder if, as the compiler of that table, you can answer a question to save me doing the research. We don’t have a U12 price as such. In a sense therefore it’s fair enough to use our U18 as that’s what they would pay. In another sense, it might almost completely missed the point.
If we are the only club in the division that doesn’t, and the rest all do, then the bigger question should be why we don’t in the first place. If about half don’t, and about half do, then picking that as a comparative price point is probably quite misleading. Any idea which is true?
I used U12 price as it was middle ground. It is indeed.

The chairman called in the meeting at very short notice - all the relevant officers were there and Mbro Supporters Forum took a big part in the discussion - I really do hope Red Faction will rejoin. We make a good team all together. Remember the Forum got the renewal date put back and last night we made sure that everyone was round that table. There was a bit of chew on here earlier this week regarding RF's original decision.
I'm delighted it has all been sorted and fair play to both the club and RF for working through this for the benefit of the club and fans.
Also worth remembering, when our passions run high, we all want the best for the club and the fans.
Yes but only <5% of fans will have the £8k+ for a family to do that and even then promotion would mean paying more. Seems like Cov have made a bold financial gamble if many took that up. You are effectively spending future earningsIf you bought your season ticket for the current season using the PL package then Coventry were offering a price freeze for 5 years. Unless they got promoted to the PL which you'd get a PL season ticket for free for the first season.

3 hours for that? Nothing at all about the cost of season tickets, the cost of finance, the horrendous messaging from the club, the ridiculous initial deadline? It was a tough meeting - lasted 3 hours. There was all sorts going on. Had the feeling of a really important political discussion. Because it was really important for club and fans. It was constantly going into extra time. Real tension. Real passion from all sides. It was still in the balance right to the end. In fact until this announcement.
Am so delighted we have found a way forward and a point from which to work from for the future.
sounds like a lot more than the that was talked about3 hours for that? Nothing at all about the cost of season tickets, the cost of finance, the horrendous messaging from the club, the ridiculous initial deadline?
A really important political discussion? Tension and passion? Give over Rob!
3 hours for a £4 saving on a child walk up ticket? Unbelievable - nothing at all on the rest of the issues.
Once again the cloak and dagger stuff from the club. Why can’t what was discussed be in the public domain?sounds like a lot more than the that was talked about
That is risky, especially if they have indeed invested the upfront cash received. They would have to defer 80% of the income in the accounts as it relates to future seasons. Not sure on take-up, however, could lead to a cash shortage in future seasons.Yes but only <5% of fans will have the £8k+ for a family to do that and even then promotion would mean paying more.
